Is it safe to sell my phone on MiiFix?

Yes, we prioritize the privacy of our customers. Our website is secure, and any personal information provided to us is handled responsibly. You can view our Privacy Policy for more information. Before you send your phone to us, remember to back up your data and factory reset your device for additional security.

Do I need to include accessories when selling my phone?

No, we only accept phones right now. However, you can send your accessories with us if you would like to dispose of them responsibly. Please note that we do not pay an additional amount for any accessories that are sent with the device.

What if my phone is damaged or not fully functional? Will you still buy it?

Yes, we buy phones in various conditions, including those with cosmetic damage or functional issues. When getting a quote, please select the right details about your phone’s condition to receive the correct quote.

How do I ship my phone to you, and who covers the shipping cost?

There are two ways you can send your phone to us – self-post, or pick up by the courier. You can post it by yourself or choose the pick up option. You will receive the details or the consignment note, depending on the option you choose. All the shipping charges will be covered by us *

How long does the entire process take, from getting a quote to receiving payment?

Once we receive your device, we test the condition and send you a quote on the same day. If you accept the quote, the payment will also be processed within 24 – 48 hours. If it takes more than 3 business days, please contact our customer support team to check the status of your device.

Can I change my mind after sending my phone to you?

Yes, you can change your mind anytime before the payment, even after you’ve sent your phone to us. Contact our customer support if you wish to cancel. We will charge you a RM 10 (West Malaysia) / RM 18 (East Malaysia) return fee for the device

Do you offer any guarantee on the sale of my phone?

We offer a satisfaction guarantee that ensures you’ll be paid the agreed-upon amount if your phone meets the stated condition. If any issues arise, contact our customer support team—we are always available to assist you.

Can I sell a phone that’s still under contract with a telco?

Yes, you can sell your phone even if it’s still under contract with a telco. We understand that you would like to upgrade your phone to a new one even when under contract. However, before you sell your phone to us, ensure that you have transfer your contract to the phone and receive a “No Dues Certificate” from your network provider.

Can I sell a phone that is telco-locked for international use?

No, we don’t accept phones that are telco locked for international use. All phones that are sold to us should be unlocked.

Can I sell my phone online if it’s still under warranty?

Selling a phone under warranty is usually allowed. However, check with the platform to see if it impacts their purchasing process or offers.

Do I need to provide the original box and packaging when I sell my phone?

No, you don’t have to send the original packaging when you sell your phone to us.

Can I sell multiple phones at once?

Yes, you can sell multiple phones at once. Simply follow the same process for each device.

Is it necessary to remove my personal data before selling the phone?

Yes, we highly recommend backing up your data and performing a factory reset to erase all personal information before sending your phone to us.

What happens if my phone’s condition doesn’t match my description?

In such cases, we’ll re-evaluate the offer based on the actual condition. If the new offer doesn’t meet your expectations, you can choose to have your phone returned to you for a return fee of RM 10 (West Malaysia) / RM 18 (East Malaysia).

Can I sell a phone with a missing or damaged battery?

Yes, we accept phones with missing or damaged batteries. However, we recommend disclosing this information when obtaining a quote.

Do you buy phones that are iCloud or Google-locked?

We do not purchase phones that are iCloud or Google-locked. Please ensure your phone is unlocked before selling.

Will you buy a phone with water damage?

We do not purchase phones with water damage. Please ensure your phone is free from liquid damage.

Can I sell a phone with a cracked camera lens?

Yes, we accept phones with a cracked camera lens. Be sure to include this detail in your sell order.

Do I need to provide proof of purchase when selling my phone?

While proof of purchase is not mandatory, providing it can help expedite the verification process and may impact the final offer.

Do you recycle phones that are no longer sellable?

Yes, we follow environmentally-friendly practices and recycle phones that are no longer sellable or beyond repair. We are partnered with MD Scrap, a certified e-waste recycling company, to ensure your phones are recycled or disposed of ethically.

Can I sell my phone if it has a software issue or won’t turn on?

Yes, we do consider phones with software issues or that won’t turn on. Please provide accurate details about the issue to receive a proper quote.

Is it better to sell my phone online or in person?

Selling online offers convenience, while in-person sales may provide security and quicker transactions. You can choose the method that suits you best.

Do I need to disclose all the issues with my phone when selling it online?
